A Christmas welcome
With Christmas rapidly approaching I decided it was time for a fitting festive welcome.
At the Dollar store I found some poinsettia garlands, and even though they looked rather skinny single, doubled up They were quite nice. I draped them around the top and along the side, securing with a bit of hot glue. Hot glue is easy to remove afterwards when you want to take the decorations of.
I found these silver bells on another decoration that was getting really dated, but kept the bells and hot glued them here in the corner. I thought they looked very good there.
This string of little red beads just wanted to be added. And there is even a small parcel hidden among the poinsettias. Also a left over from a broken decoration.
Coming together quite nicely.
This old snow star holder was originally filled with dried flowers, those have long gone. The berries and Christmas tree springs were also a Dollar store find.
And here it is at the door wishing everyone a warm Christmas welcome! Just in time for the Christmas holiday and family gatherings!
