This months face is for February
I started out with a basic drawing, I made a template for the face so this is what is being used for the face profile. From there I start playing around with ideas.
February is the month for Valentines day, and romance is closely linked with France and Paris. The paper napkin that was used had a Paris theme, perfect for this project. The stencil that was used around the face almost looked like braids, and I really liked how this looked. The structure is raised from the modeling paste that was used.
Adding stencils and stamps in my favorite pink.
I painted the hair around the face and this covered up almost all the modeling paste “braids”, you can still faintly see some of the structure. It looks ok, but I wish I had made more of the “braids”.
Below are some of the materials used in this project. The stamps and stencils all came from Micheals, the napkins from the Dollar store, and the paints from the Dollar store and Micheals.
