The Party Bloggers
THE PARTY BLOGGERS ETIQUETTE
1. SHOUT IT from the rooftops “Come to the PARTY!”
Once a blogger links their post to our party they should tweet, pin, or FB their post letting people know they visited the party. They should have gotten a link up for it.
2. MINGLE!….Visit and Leave a comment on at least the 2 links before you and the 2 links after.
This helps everyone get some extra traffic. You don’t have to subscribe and you can certainly look for more to visit. I always do. I have made some new relationships through visiting someone who linked into the party because I commented and subscribed.
3. Follow the LEADER on Social Media
Look at it as bringing a hostess gift to a party, the host prepared and planned and you get to come in and get exposure. It cost you nothing to follow and once it’s done, it’s done!
4. SAY YES to the address!
We will collect their email to send them a reminder of the next party. (haven’t added that yet, coming soon!)
5. Put up the sign THE PARTY IS HERE!
There will be a button to grab from the host(s)’ site that party goers should grab and put somewhere on their site. What I have seen just today is that bloggers who party hardy have a page set up with their parties organized by days of the week or monthly and the badges or banners or buttons whatever you want to call them are all right there. I like it because who needs to add anything more to the sides or bottoms of their blogs?
6. STICK to the THEME
Write a great post sticking to the theme using an amazing photo and people will flock to your site. This is not the place to plug a store or sell. An affiliate link that makes sense for the post will be acceptable.
7. You passed Go! Collect the OPTIONAL BONUS!
There will be a group board for each PARTY THEME and participants are invited to join in the collaboration! WE’RE TAKING THIS PARTY ON THE ROAD!

THE PARTY BLOGGERS
A Facebook group created by Debbie Stolle, helping all of us new bloggers learning and connecting with each other, while sharing our posts.
HOME TOURS PLANNING CENTER
This Facebook Group Page was also created by Debbie, out of her desire to be in a fall and Christmas home tour. Since we had a link to a lot of new bloggers in the original Facebook Group page, Debbie was able to get brand new bloggers involved. We planned and launched in about 6 weeks a Festive Fall Home Tour that showcased 11 Homes.
We are now on to the planning for our Christmas Sparkle Home Tour. We only have 19 members at this time, but I know this will grow as people find out about the Home Tours. It is such a fun thing to be a part of.
I hope to use this planning center for every holiday and celebration with variations as we get ideas sparked by it.
BLOGGING SCHOOL
Blogging School was created to make the learning about blogging more purposeful. We truly wanted a small study group. Unfortunately, people have other commitments and things come up and they slack off of participating in things. When the group is small you need everyone coming to be apart of it or you are simply talking to yourself. So it regularly gets opened up to new people so we can keep content coming in and making the page work for those who are truly interested in being a part of it.
This page is simple a place to share and be accountable if you like…that has not happened yet. Debbie typically check in on a Monday and ask what people’s learning goals are that week and to report on what they learned or worked on the previous week.
People add webinars, posts, etc of what they are buying, reading, using etc. It is a place for questions as well.
It is not a School where you get taught, it is a self study support group where you share what you are learning and ask for help, questions, etc.
BLOGGER’S PROMOTE & SHARE
This page is a simple promote and share page. Most Facebook Group pages do not allow for self promotion and thought where are people supposed to be able to do this? So this group was opened this up as a place for bloggers to share posts, tours, link parties, blog hops, webinars, Etsy shops, e-books, truly anything at all.
Again, this is a new page so we have very few members at the moment, but I am hoping one day to see 300 or more on it sharing and enjoying the networking from each other.
