Painting a pumpkin for Halloween.
This year for Halloween I decided to make my own pumpkin painting. I had seen several paintings on Pinterest that I really liked.
The canvas was primed with white Gesso, then I drew the design.
I experimented a bit with the background, and used the acrylic paint like watercolor. I liked the airy effect this created. It looks almost like fallen leaves in the corner of the painting.
Paints used in this project: From DecoArt; Dark Forest Green; Poppy Orange; Pine Needle; Deep Red; Bright Yellow; Cinnamon Brown; Burnt Umber; Antique Gold;Burgundy; and from Delta Ceramcoat: Pumpkin.
It’s easy to do, so now it’s your turn!
